Guest interaction
Guest interaction: ordering, surveys and screens on the robot
Beyond carrying things, the robot is a screen a guest can use. Hybot runs multilingual kiosk ordering, a multilingual feedback survey and scheduled advertising on the robot's own body and head displays, and the same surfaces open from a per-table QR code on the guest's own phone.
How it works, specifically
Ordering runs on the robot itself
The order menu runs on the robot's body display or the guest's phone, with categories, option groups, combos, allergens and upsells configured per venue.
Feedback is collected where the service happened
The survey ships with an English, Persian and Arabic question bank in two groups — the venue's food and service, and the service robot itself.
Submitting the survey closes the robot's step
Completing a survey on the body display auto-confirms the robot's waiting step after about two and a half seconds, so nobody has to tap DONE.
Advertising never interrupts a guest
Platform-assigned brand adverts play only at completed advertisement-cycle boundaries and never cut into ordering or a survey in progress.
Common questions
- Do guests need to install an app?
- No. Everything runs in a browser: on the robot's own display in locked kiosk mode, or on the guest's phone through a per-table QR code that resolves the table automatically.
- Which languages are supported?
- The menu is driven by a project-wide language registry with right-to-left handled automatically, and the survey ships with a default question bank in English, Persian and Arabic that a manager can reword or extend per language.
- Can we advertise on the robot screens?
- Yes. Each project has an advertisement library with ordered or random playlists, text overlays and timing control, plus platform-assigned brand adverts that only play between complete cycles.
Hardware that does this
This capability is built from platform behaviour rather than from a hardware feature, so it is not tied to a specific robot. Ask about it when you request a quote.
